Salisbury Plain Training Area (CG3a)

We stock seed from several areas on the plain, this is the most extensive and best unimproved grassland in the south of England. Represented here are essential indicator species for the creation of grassland that meaningfully meet the aims of any Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP).

This mixture is noted for Sainfoin, Rock Rose, Devil’s Bit Scabious and Saw-wort.

Sow at between 20-40 kg/ha.

1kg covers 250m² when sown at 40kg/ha.

Full drilling and hand sowing instructions are supplied with the seed.
